How much does it cost to light one home?
Approximately $50 places a quality solar-powered lighting kit in a family home in Sri Lanka. Each kit charges free in daylight and provides safe, bright light every night for years — replacing kerosene lamps and candles.
How do I know my donation reaches Sri Lanka?
We keep distribution records for every consignment, and trusted local community contacts confirm delivery to each household. We are volunteer-run, so donations fund goods and delivery — not administration. Our spending is reported publicly to the ACNC each year.
Can my school or workplace run a collection?
Absolutely. Community collections of funds, books, stationery and new clothing are a big part of how our consignments happen. Message us through the form above and select "Organising a collection" and we will help you set it up.
