Our winter appeal is underway, funding the next consignment of solar-powered lighting kits for distribution to students and families later this year. Every $50 donated places one kit in a family home. Donate through our donation page or contact us to organise a community collection.
A new group of students from financially disadvantaged families received scholarship support for the current school year, covering the fees and essentials that would otherwise have forced them out of the classroom. Recipients were selected with local school contacts based on need and commitment to study.
Our latest annual reporting was completed and lodged with the charities regulator on 29 January 2026 — twelve consecutive years of transparent, on-time reporting since our founding in October 2014. Our financial statements are publicly available on the ACNC Charity Register.
Our late-2025 distribution combined solar lighting kits with school equipment and clothing packs, responding to specific needs identified by local community contacts. Families received light for the home while children received the books, stationery and clothing they needed for the new school term.
